Walker Mufler or ????

My Dynaflow muffler just went bad and looking to replace both on a 468 BB. Looking not to spent much, so has anyone used a Walker or Summit muffler? If so any recommendations? I have no name turbos on my other 69 and has held up for 20 years so far and the high $$$ don't seem to last but a few years.

I had walker (Dynomax) super turbos on my '67 with a very mild 350 for years. I liked them a lot. Probably going to put a pair on my '77 vette, when I get around to it...

The super turbos give a really nice tone, but definitely not LOUD....makes noise, don't get me wrong, but they are pretty mellow by today's "Welded muffler" standards...

Re: Walker Mufler or ????

I put the Summit turbos on my 66 Chevelle with a basically stock 327 with headers.

If my plan wasn't to sell the car from the beginning,I would have replaced them. I wasn't impressed with the sound/tone, but they were cheap.

X2 on that one I have always used the DYNOMAX SUPER TURBO MUFFLERS. I love them too as at low driving speeds they do not draw attention from the boys in blue . they have a nice tone to them and flow well. They also make a hemi road runner muffler with a longer case that sounds good also if they will fit. Alex

Another vote for Dynomax Super Turbo.

I'm currently using them with 327, ceramic coated headers, X-pipe.

IMO, they sound good but not abrasive.
