Carb tuning in Wash, DC area

Looking for recommendations a shop in the Washington, DC area that is good at tuning carbs. I live just north of DC in Germantown and I have only found one shop in Fredrick that dyno tunes engines for about $500. Seems a little much, but maybe that is just the going rate?

I have tried some changes on a previous carb but did not have much success. I now have a new Quick Fuel 750 that is running rich and would really like a pro to set it up right.

Thanks

Try Gunthers in Walkersville. Great machine shop. They don't have a dyno, however.

Another option is a dyno shop in Mt. Airy. I don't racall the name but it's right downtown.

York Auto in Mt. Airy was the other one I was thinking of. He did a couple of dyno days for our BMW club. Good people.

Tell them George Bauer with the blue 68 straight 6 Camaro sent you. They worked on the car for me last Wednesday. Only the second shop I've ever trusted with it.
