Holley vacumn advance location

Just put new Holley carb # 080457s---4160---600cfm elec choke on my
Near stock 350 engine. Should I connect vac line to ported vac fitting
as Holley recommends or to manifold vac fitting? Most info I read, says
To use manifold fitting. Does anyone have one of these carbs and
Which fitting are you using and why. Right now I have mine connected
To man vac. Runs very well. Thanks.

A 69 Z28 would use full manifold vacuum. Smog motors use ported vacuum.
