I am in the process of shopping for an engine for my 69. Has anyone dealt with World Products and bought either their 427 small block or their 509 big block?

How do you like the engine, is it streetable or best left for the track? Was it worth the cost or would have used a different vendor or built it your self?

How was their service? Service goes a long way in my book. I will pay a little extra if folks take the time to do things right.

ther have been a few "comments" about the way World handles warranty claims.
my suggestion would be to either head to you local GM dealer and get one of the many fine crate engines available there, or find a good local builder and have an engine custom made for you.

you don't plan sincerity.
you have to make it up on the spot.

wanna hear about 20 years ago when i was too smart to know any better?

Check out the 502 from Sallee Chevy, I used it in my 68 Z and loved it, the guys at Sallee were more than helpful, and the 502 runs like a bat out of hell. GREAT engine out of the box. You can see the changeover at my site.
