Re: Does k&n make a 14 by 2 element?

I know that Mr.Gasket used to sell one, but never bought a K&N that short.

I used a @1(-)" drop base with a short Mr.Gasket and a 'Filter' lid from Summit on a low boat engine cover application a few years back.
The 3" filter rubbed the bottom of the cover ...

Re: Does k&n make a 14 by 2 element?

Thx I just ordered E3740 along with extreme lid since it's shorter than 3. I had to add a 1 inch spacer so even with 1.25 drop it'll be close.

Re: Does k&n make a 14 by 2 element?

You can have kn build you a custom air filter. I did. I have a billet specialties 12 inch oval air cleaner. I could only find a filter in either 2 inch or 4 inch heights. The 4 inch was to tall and I needed a bit more air flow than the 2 inch could provide. It cost about 90 bucks for the filter, but I had them make me a 3 inch oval air filter to fit my air cleaner.
