I've heard that this will increase HP on a car but what does the achine shop do to them? Which heads will be better to take to the shop cc's cast number etc.?

it is a 30* back cut on the valve, stem side and anthor cut on the out side edge on the cylender side. it help's to smooth out the flow and off less restriction to the flow then a regular single angle cut on the valve for sealing. it normaly also involves at least one on the valve seat too on the valve side to help it flow more too.

I talked to a cyl head shop and he said it's been an industry standard for 10 years so don't worry about it.
