The vacuum hose on my 69 RS that runs from the rear hose assembly up to the tee at the relay assembly wants to come off quite often. The hose is in the retainers but the connection seem to be a little loose.

Any suggestions to keep these connected?

If there is slack in the hose cut off a 1/2" or so and re-attach. If it's on the short side replace it...

I think Jonesy has it right, several of mine were loose too. If the hoses are slack then DJD is right as well, shorten them up a little.
I pulled the hose, put a little bit of dum dum on the fitting ribs, then pushed the hose back on, bingo, not sloppy anymore

Thanks guys, as DjD stated on another thread, I may have some dried out hoses. They look relatively new, but you never know. Unfortunately, I don't have alot of slack, so it looks like new hoses. Thanks again!
