Question Oil leak

Has anyone found a sealant or 2 part epoxy to use where the oil pan and timing cover meet on a small block chevy?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Oil leak

This is what I have use on the rear main seal and on the timing chain cover and oil pan. Permatex Ultra Black Maximum Oil Resistance RTV Silicone Gasket Maker. I also use it on the front and back of the intake manifold. http://www.permatex.com/products-2/p...sealant-detail

Re: Oil leak

In order for RTV to seal, both surfaces should be cleaned with BraKleen® or lacquer thinner.
Got to have a dry surface for adhesion.
