I think it's worth about $50.00, do you want my shipping address???

I'm not sure if this is the proper topic for this question, maybe check the classifieds or bench racing, or tag team??

Cool

As a suggestion, you might post the numbers to the left of the engine code. These numbers are the build date and location where built. The other numbers to the left of the MO are part of the VIN.

Somebody here might have the body to go with the engine, providing the block deck hasn't been machined.

Wow, was that a slam Camaro_man?? Lighten up!

I'm sure I could afford it but equally sure that I don't need it!! I'm not really into the 100 point concourse stuff, I prefer to build modern iron that I can beat on with a clear conscience. I figure that frees up all the vintage iron for the guys that really need it.

Use the classifieds, they work. I put a set of 2.02" 291 heads up there and they were gone in a week!! (they might have been a date match for your 302!!)

IMHO it's the best place to find an audience of several thousand hardcore Camaro owners looking for parts. And, it's free!!

Good luck,

Paul D.

Question

PaulD,

What did you get for your -291 heads?

Please e-mail me at home if you don't want to say on the Board.

I might sell my set of good, big valve, -291's????

That engine might be worth $2500-4000 depending on the condition of the components and the date codes. $10K for a 302 is a dream. There's a lot of DZ 302 motors for sale in the $5K range and they're not selling.
