Hi again. Firt off, thanks for all your help. This forum has been a God send. My new problem is this. When I go WOT in park, I get these black spots behind the tail pipes. I assume its carbon, but dont know for sure. I recently leaned out my Eldebrock 600, and that seemed to help a bit, but the spots are driving my wife crazy! I cant get on it without leaving my tell tale mark on the garage floor or the driveway. I recently changed the plugs wires and dist. cap. Any suggestions?

First of all,
You should not be going WOT in park or neutral ... best way to kill an engine
Other than that, the spots are probably from water condensation in the cold exhaust system. I bet if you drove it until it got good and warmed up, it would not do it.

Ditto on the condensation. My tail pipes drip like a faucet until the engine is warmed up.
