We need a little more info. Part number of pistons, std. bore or +.030 - +.060. Head gasket thickness, deck height, were the heads milled, etc.

The ROSS Racing Pistons site gives 9.39 to 1 CR. using a .039" thick composite headgasket, -4 cc's for valve reliefs and .025" down in the hole piston height..

A Fel-pro, PN 1094, .015" shim headgasket puts you at 9.87CR. which should very good for pump gas, imho...

A 750 carb, single plane, stock, medium valve heads, (pocket-ported), and open small headers gives about 388hp at 5,000rpm and and 453/454t between 35 and 4,000rpm figuring the 9.39 CR.

The 9.87 CR. number gives 398hp at 5,000rpm and 463t at 4,000rpm.

A nice mild motor, imho...
