77-79 350 2 or 4 bolt mains, you'll have to look to know for sure.

Post back the letters at the end of the VIN number string and hopefully we can decode; year, car, hp, carb. and tranny.

124379N560983 Thanks in advance for your help. The car is a 1969 Camaro 350 SS, or supposed to be. Thanks Cy

A SB '70 on will have three letters at the end of the VIN number string you listed and only 2 letters '69 and earlier.

And if they aren't on the end of the VIN string, they might be on a little pad right at the top middle of the water pump's pulley on the block.

Post back again so maybe we can pinpoint it better..

Brandon, how did you come up with it being a '77-'79 motor??

If the dipstick is in the pan instead of the block, it's a '77-'79 350 block.
