I hope you all don't mind me posting my questions for my nova, but i don't have anywhere else to get good input like i receive here.New question. When i first start my car while it's cool, it turns over fine, but after it warms up, the starter wants to drag.I ordered a painless performance HOT SHOT RELAY hoping it is just the solenoid being close to the exhaust. Any suggetions?

Hot soak start problems are nearly as old as the Small block V-8...
Do a search for "hot start" in the Engine Forum using the 'search' function, you will come-up with several pages of past posts discussing this issue.

The interm relay will help get around the problem - but, really isn't necessary if the starter install is done correctly, the starter is insulated from excess heat and the charging system is well engineered and maintained.
