Header Clearance

Ok, this is my problem, Ive got a header clearance problem on my 69. Here are the specs:
sbc, 350, CPP 500 steering box. The only problem is the steering box clearance, what is everybody else using to get away from this?
I have about a 1/8" clearance.

Are your engine mounts good?

68 302 M20 - 85 IROC Z
The older I get the faster I was.

I believe so. Just put motor in and. They appeared good.

if the engine moves it torques to the passenger side away from the steering box.
