Exclamation high rpm when engine is started

I have a 95 camaro SS clone with lt1 and t56 tranny , I had to replace my lifters and rod bearing , now when I start the engine rpms are at 2500? All my vacuum lines are hoked up so eone please help this is my daily driver

Sounds like the ISC solenoid (Idle Speed Control) may be malfunctioning or improperly adjusted. Connect a code reader with OBDII capability and check for fault code "P505 through P509". Most likely the problem!
