The old rivets will hold just fine, but I wouldn't recommend using them. The reason being, that a machine shop is going to charge you anywhere from 25 to 35 dollars to tank your manifold, and for a few dollars more, you can, and should buy an aftermarket aluminum intake that will flow better, look better, in my opinoin, and will provide a great savings in weight. Unless you are a purist, and need the correct factory parts on your car, get the aftermarket aluminum, you'll be happy you did.
