acdelco double platinum #41-833 plugs

These are awfully pricey but would they work well in a 327, mild cam, & with a points conversion module?

We used them in late model Cadillacs because they last at least 60k miles.

I'll predict that most guys here will tell you not to waste your money in your 327.

You'll probably hear "Spark plugs are spark plugs, you won't notice any difference."

Don't forget that a "points conversion" unit likes a plug gap of .035".

They don't have the voltage of a HEI.

I believe all platinum does for you is make the plugs last longer. This is very important in more modern engines with 50,000 mile tuneup intervals and super hot ignition systems. Copper core plugs deliver the most spark, more important for older ignition systems like ours, but dont last as long. In other words, save your money.
