built a new 355ci, how long does it usually take, for the oil, to reach the rockers?
during prelubing?

Cool

Regardless of lifter, when oil is seen coming from the foremost forward rocker arm, then, oil is good.

On a solid lifter engine, one would need to turn crankshaft several times to allow oil passage through the oil galleys, hydraulic is not a problem.

I usually oil for a good 10 minutes after forward rocker is oiling.

Thanks for asking....The area did very well. Alot of felled trees, no power, and a few damaged houses here at Hampton Roads. Outer Banks did not fare as well, total devastation there. My house did excellent, no downed fence parts, no sliding gone, no uprooted tress ( Ihave none), and nary a curled shingle ( I'm knocking on wood BIG TIME!!).........Got power back after 2.5 days, Sat PM.

We are counting our blessings...........
