I have a 94 Camaro,3.4 V6, and for someone reason it the engine tempature starts rising while I'm at a like or during traffic, basically when I'm idiling. What could be the problem and what would be the solution? Thanks!

Danny

Does it ever overheat??

Basically, the engine is going to heat up to 215-225 degrees until it hits the programmed hi-temp limit. The computer will turn on the electric fan until the engine temp gets back down below 200 deg. This is normal. Is this what your car does??

Question

Is the fan coming on ???
If it is, is there something blocking the radiator/condensor in front?

I haven't given it a chance to over heat but it's gone 3/4 of the way and I don't hear that fan so it's possible that the fan is not working.

Smooth, please just post your question in one forum where its most relevant. Multiple postings tie up bandwidth and when others use the 'search' function wont be able to find the answers that are given by other members. Thanks for understanding and welcome to Team Camaro. We are primarily a First Generation Camaro site but some folks often can help with other generation issues too.
