just another ammeture question. i have my pcv valve connected from my valve cover to the intake manifold. is this right or is there a difference if i have it hooked up to a vaccum port on the carb. in my case i dont have a port on my holly hp carb.

1969 camaro convertible, sm blk 350 trick flow heads, m21 muncie, 3.73 rear. hugger orange with blacks stripes. 12.90 @ 107mph

any manifold vacuum will work, but you want it drawing from the plenum area, if not from the carb base (which draws from the plenum area). reason being, if you are picking it up from a single runner on the manifold, you are potentially drawing oil vapor into just that runner, instead of blending in the plenum. this could cause fouling, detonation, etc. it will work, but isn't really a good way to do it.
