Hello everbody,

Iím trying to work out the alternator mounting on my 502. The engine is going into my 69. I would like to mount the alternator on the driver side like on the 67 and 68 big block cars. I have to use tall valve covers because of the roller valve train. Does anyone know if the brackets used on the 67 and 68 cars provide enough valve cover clearance? Or will the alternator hit the tall valve covers?
Thanks, Joe
