do any of you people running roots blowers experience blowby? If so, did you fix it and how?

We had a 355 with a 144 Holley blower expire on the dyno, lots of blowby. It seems it busted 2 of the stock cast pistons. We built a blower motor and installed it in his car, no more blowby.

Yeah, I built a 454 that went into a 69 Camaro, and it would blow oil out of the breathers. I thought the machine work and assembly (with fresh parts) were done right.

The cure? A PCV valve, which can be seen in this image>

No problems with oil entering the carb baseplate either, which surprised me.
