Is it worth taking a chance for the $20 or so that the gasket costs ? The one thing I would do is have your torque wrench checked to make sure it is ok. Its kind of rare, but I have seen them go out of calibration. It would be worth at least borrowing another one from a friend to compare with. By the way, most people dont realize it, but torque wrenches are most accurate near the middle of thier range. If you are torquing head bolts you should be using a torque wrench with about 150lb capacity.
