hi ive got a 2000 camaro SS, with the SLP package. im lookin to do some mods in the future. they include an LS6 intake, a flowmaster 80 series crossflow muffler, and maybe a mass airflow sensor. What experiences have you people had with these products.


also, i wanted to fit a pair of "rail covers" on my car from a corvette, theyre the things that go over the valve covers and the mess of injectors and all. has anyone done this? thanx

btw, could you plz list what type of car u have? thanx

i think a 2000 Camaro already has the LS6 intake- or was that 2001?

you don't plan sincerity.
you have to make it up on the spot.

wanna hear about 20 years ago when i was too smart to know any better?

Its the same style, but the LS6 has bigger port (or atleast i think) Chevy High Performance magazine did a test and the Ls6 outperformed the Ls1

I think it was 2001 that got the LS6 intake. The intake should get you 5-10 HP. The exhaust probably about the same. The MAF probably won't help much until you get more mods and need the extra air. You're better off porting the stock one and saving your money for other mods. I've done a couple of LS1's. Just did my buds 2000 Vette convertible. I ported his heads and installed a TR224 cam. He is using the Lingenfelter intake. Car runs damn good with a 11.70 @ 119. LS1 motors have impressed the hell out of me..

409SB, TH350, 12bolt 4.10<br />6.86 @ 98.8 on pump gas

Yes, 01 for the intake.

Look at headers/intake/exhaust first for good gains. Let the puppy breath and you will be rewarded. The intake then will make more difference. MAF can be cleaned up cheap yourself and is fine for many HP.

Auto or 6-speed? the manual will need a new clutch before long if you are a spirited driver. The stocker is not so good.
