depends on what your definition of "worth it" is. some people would spend thousands of $$$ just to chase 1/100th off their quarter mile time- or just to make something look cooler- but others cringe at spending the extra dime a gallon at the gas station for the good gas that allows you to advance your timing 2 more all depends where you are coming from- the Proform main body with used Holley parts is like a poor man's Race Demon carb.

you don't plan sincerity.
you have to make it up on the spot.

wanna hear about 20 years ago when i was too smart to know any better?

LOL!! I'm just lookin' for better flow. I have a BBC 396. I used to take all my carbs to BNR Racing in Phoenix to have them built and the first thing that they did was cut off the choke tower. I'm kinda new at the whole carb thing. Mostly Iíve been intimidated by 'em.

Yeah, there's a lot of info here on that swap, try a search in the Performance forum.

I converted my double pumper 750 over to the Proform main body. It was worth the $100! It works great, and I was impressed with how easy it was to do.

68 Camaro, 555 big block, Doug Nash 5-speed, 3.54 gear.
