does anyone know what would have to be done to drop in a big block into a 3rd gen camaro? im sick of just a 350 and want a lot more power and the feeling of a chevy big block.
how much would i be looking to spend on the conversion (not including price of engine)?

Ed Quay makes an installation kit (or at least he used to) to use a big block in a 3rd gen Camaro. I've never bought one myself but I understand from others that his parts a pretty good.

Cool

Turn your 350 into a 383 or build a 406 etc. Just keep it a small block. I have heard 3rd gens. will have handling problems etc. because they were never designed for a big block.

69 Camaro -originally a LM1 car. 327, Edelbrock E-streets, hooker, DUI performance distributors, ultradyne cam, stewart, TRW etc. Vintage Air, AGR steering, Corbeau GTSII seats, 700R4 transmission, 12-bolt w/Eaton 4.11:1
