I am looking for the 10 amp circuit breaker for the headlight circuit. The only thing I can find is a 30 amp that a few websites say can be used for this application. I don't want to burn out anything. Does this sound like it is ok to do?

Sorry, I just noticed that I posted this in the wrong forum. (new user) Should I repost it in the electrical forum?

Don,

Yeah this should probably be in Electrical but since nobody has moved it I will give you an answer.

Cole Hersee Co. makes a 10amp breaker, PN is 30055-10. Thier phone is 617-268-2100. www.colehersee.com

Ricks sells an 8AMP. They claimed they couldn't find a 10AMP breaker anywhere. Even after I gave them all the info on where to find a 10AMP they are still selling the 8AMP.

I just replaced mine about 6 months ago and it was a snap. The bracket is a little different than the original but it is hidden and nobody will ever notice.

I wonder if this is why my doors didn't operate after I hooked the wires back up to the micro switches??

In fact, I wished Chevy woulda made them operate by hand like the old Opel GT cars tip-up headlights do!!
