Just as subject says - I have heads with what are much taller springs compared to the swap out springs I picked up with a not so used roller cam deal

The deal came off a 400ci - do 400 ci heads usually have longer valves than 350 ci use heads??

The swap springs fit my WP II heads 1.437" (approx. dia), but they come up short of install height

someone suggested I may have to consider +.100" valves if I can't get my heads machined to accomodate larger diameter springs that have the capacity to meet the recommended spring pressures for the cam

anywhere I can get this info. to help me know what my heads have now stock length or otherwise?

I forget whether Competition Products and Manley list valve stem overall lengths or not b/c these little details are always a pain to find.

I would start there first and maybe the Ferrara valve site if they have one.
