Question

I would like to know what anyone can tell me about a Big block cyinder head, casting # 14096188. I know that they are rectangular ports. I could not find them in my chevrolet by the numbers book.
Are these a good head casting to use as a foundation for a weekend drag car?
Thanks in advance!

Really depends on what you want to do. If you want a really good read on motors heads etc. I really recommned this web site. Go the the tech talk section. There are boat loads of articles on BBC's. Great reading for anyone thinking of building a BBC.
