I have put my car up for the bad weather but wanted to start it the other day. Battery is charged,tryed to start but nothing interior lights dim down and i hear a low hum. please help any thoughts. thanks jf

Sounds like a starter or solenoid problem.
How old is the starter?
Giving the starter motor housing a few sharp taps with a hammer will sometimes give you one or two more starts out of it.

check that connection where your battery cable meets the solenoid first,then get to cleaning all electrical connections.if that doesn't help try tapping the solenoid with a "ford wrench".
baking soda mixed with water is a good way to dissolve corrosion.
a light coat of red spray high tack will help to keep tour fresh clean connections that way.
