I was wanting to decode my engine but I'm not having much luck. Here's what's stamped on the front pad:
T0718HN
18S273708

Also the head is stamped with an N, that has a circle around it.

Any help would be appreciated.

1965 HN 327 t/ign., m/t 375hp FI Vette
1968 HN 327 Pwrglide, reg gas - 4bbl full size/Chevy II
1969 HN 327 TH350 full size
1969 HN 350 TH? 300hp 4bbl full size

18S273708 is the partial VIN of the vehicle that that engine came out of. Looks like maybe a 1968\69 327 engine made at the Tonowanda, NY plant.

What's the casting number on the heads, under the valve cover?

I didn't happen to get it before I put the valve covers on and sealed them up. I'll probably pull one of them off later and check. Thanks for the info.
