What are (performance-)differences (flow?) between intakes with a 4bbl intake for 350ci engines and a 4bbl intake for 305ci engines.
And does the year also make a difference?

I have a 2bbl (350cfm?) aluminium intake on my 1978 305ci engine. A friend of my gave me a cast iron intake for a 4bbl. The number on the intake showed it is used on (only?) 305ci engines. The number on the cast iron intake is: 14057055

Is it worth to put on the cast iron 4bbl 305ci intake with the added weight, or is it best to keep the aluminium intake with the 2bbl?

Any advice is welcome.....

I bet you can pick up a stock, almuminum 350 manifold for not much at a swap meet if you look for one.

I think they are about as good as the old cast-iron Q-Jet manifolds but just a little poorer casting quality and also have a EGR cast into it that you may have to cap??
