Has any of you guys put this motor in a 1969 camaro, if so i would like to know the problems you had. Thanks in advance you guys have allways been a big help.

I wish I had that kind of money. I'm pretty sure it's a tall deck engine which would move the intake up and the exhaust up and out. Getting headers to fit might be a problem, but if you're plunking down that kind of cash, what's a custom set of headers.

Yes, it is a tall deck from what I have researched. Sallee Chevrolet gives a pretty good description of it. My guess is, if you have a cowl hood it might not be a problem. You will probably have to run a drop base air cleaner or a thinner one. I don't know about the headers, but I suspect 12run is right that it will be a PIA unless you get a custom set built or maybe use shorties.

Hmm. I would think there may be a brake booster problem as well.
