Take your foot off the gas pedal!

ok i wanted to get more power out of my 91 chevy,so i added a hyperchip.car was ok for about 8 mos, then problems started,ie tach showing [email protected] idle while in park. then when i put car in D a screaming sound comes from tbi air horn, and tach is pegged out, i have a new tranny so i dont think its bad (causing a high rev) i checked the fluid it smells good & looks good & level is correct. ive also checked for vacume leaks & there are no apperante leaks. i think maybe i should check the tbs switch, but what about the tach? & what is normal idle? thanks stncldx2
