How are they on the street? I am thinking of using one on my sb Chevy 400. Do they have decent bottom end? How about all around performance? I do realize they were an IMCA carb, but I've seen a couple magazine articles saying that they have good enough bottom end for general street use. Anybody ever actually ran one?

I tried a 500 once it didn't have enough bottom end for me. You will need an aftermarket manifold anyway just find a 600 4bbl vac carb.

I have a 730 CFM vacuum secondary Holley on my engine right now. It runs good with that carb. I just was thinking about trying the 6425 becuase I want to see how well the annular discharge work, and what my car will run like with no secondary transition.
What size engine did you have it on? What kind of cam or heads did you have on it?
