I inherited a 305 2bbl 1978 in my 67
I found a brand new crete 350 290 hp., G.M recomends this one manifold that has a 5 1/4 rise from the bottom of the manifold under the thermostat , to the carb base.
I need to know if the 1967 350 ss 4bbl is taller or shorter than 5 1/4.
I want to use stock carb, air cleaner and worry (before I buy this set up) If I can close my stock ss hood.
Thanks everyone

You should be fine. I run a Performer RPM (which is listed at 5 1/4" tall and is almost certainly taller than a Q-Jet manif) and a Holley 4V carb with a drop-base air cleaner and it fits under my FLAT hood. Your SS hood gives a bit more clearance yet....
