the sending units with the return lines are still on back order for 90 days and they have no prediction on when they are coming in, can you run a unit with out a return line? what changes do you have to make to do this? thanks...speedy

speedy, my 69 has dual lines but someone installed a HOlley DP and removed the Qjet that used the return line. They capped off the line near the fuel pump with rubber fuel line folded over and clamped it. The Holley is running fine that way. Im just not sure about the Qjet and how it would run without the return. Maybe others can comment too.

Speedy, I was not suggesting you change to Holley, only that I have a Holley now and its working fine, I dont get any vapor lock, yes I have the vented cap.
Since I dont know if you have a Qjet or Holley, I was hoping other will chime in here.
Give this a few more days for guys to slide thru the many many posts we all read here. There will be other comments soon.
