Question

I have a 67 with a center console it had a powerglide,now its got a th350 can i use the same shifter?I have been told to just use the all the shift linkage from a th400like in a 68?will tis work???? please help me.

Most likely you can use your stock shifter, but pay close attention how it bolts up to the tranny. If the linkages are too short or too long, you may need to change out the shifter assembly. (By the way, what did you do with that Powerglide? Im looking for one.)

They have what I think you are looking for. You can use your original shifter, but shiftworks can help it be a cleaner install.

Years ago after breaking TH350 five times in two years, I changed to PG. I am using the 350 shifter, everything bolted up including the cable bracket on the trans pan. -- but wait, you have a 67, uses a rod verses cable.
As Speedracer suggests, keep track of length of levers and hole location. I'd wager it would work.

THANKS GUYS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT AND THE POWERGLIDE WAS REBUILT AND INSTALLED IN MY CHEVELLE WITH A SLIGHTLY HIGHER HOREPOWER MOTOR.THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!!
