Do I have this right??

For my non-A/C, BB, P/S, and short W/P car using stock, BB parts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Two groove Crank pulley and add-on P/S pulley.

2. Two groove W/P pulley.

3. Single deep groove Alternator pulley

Middle groove crank pulley to front groove W/P pulley to Alt pulley belt, (long sucker!)..

Add-on crank pulley to P/S pulley belt, (short belt!)...

And I guess the back Crank pulley groove and back W/P pulley groove would go the the A/C if I had it???

This is a bit--!!!!

NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND I just went back to the garage to look at my car and as stupid as this seems, it looks like my '67, SB single groove Crank pulley and my '68, SB single groove W/P, (for a P/S application), pulley will work fine!!!

SO in my case, I can run my alternator belt off the rear grooves using my SB stuff!!!!!

Then just run my P/S off the SB Crank add-on pulley that I also have..........

edit... tks for givin me sumptin to do, Paul, this boards been boring all weekend.

The book p378 shows alt belt routes same as small block, inner pulleys, to alternator only, outer add-on pulley to power steering only.

JimM,

What book??

I still have to shim my Alan Groves P/S pump bracket so it lines up right but that's not going to be much of a hassle...

Just hard to reach.. As well as the routing of the hoses with headers??

I was kinda scared to complete my motor assembly totally on my motor stand b/c of all the extra weight but looking back, wished I had...

I left the W/P, intake, carb. and starter off as well as the nit-picking crap to save weight..... Oh well, live and learn...

My back kinda hurts this morning from leaning over my fenders!!!

I know, I know, I'm a pansy!!!

PS., 'bout forgot, distributor time!!!! And sparkplug wires too... He, He!!

lol... wish you'd put on everything but the distributor and fan on on the stand... it'd be running, and your back wouldn't be sore....hehe
