I was looking at the front of the block below the alternator. Though one of the unused tapped holes in the block I can see the push rod for the fuel pump. Surely oil will come out here. What sould be bolted here? What is missing?

Put a short 3/8-16 bolt in there to plug the hole. Oil will come out. Only needs to be 1/2" 3/4" long, you do NOT want it to hit the fuel pump pushrod!
