i am putting in a 454 can i use the motor mounts that are bolted on the frame from my 350?

Yes, but the regular headers won't fit. The factory big block frame pads offset and tilted the big block to gain clearance at the steering box.

Lemons makes a set of headers to fit the big block in the small block location, but they're about $800. a set.

What year's the car?

I beleive 67-68 mounts are availible from the usual suspects. I beleive 69 BBC mounts were not availible when I looked last...

BBC towers for the 69 are being repopped. Avaliable at all the resto houses. That's the way I'd go. Also, you will need to change the cross member, or modify the one you have. (I'm asuming non-TH400)

Motor mounts (that bolt to the block) can be a problem. If they are too short, the crank pulley will interfere with the front crossmember. My correct mounts are in the car, so I don't think I can get a good measurement. However, I can measure a set that I wanted to use, but they were about 3/8" too short.
