I am wanting to buy a early built 69 RS/SS(350ci/300hp.) Camaro. It was built in Norwood and it was sold new in Calif.(still has the Black plates)! Mt question is... it does not have factory smog and the owner said that it never did. Should it have had??? This car is all original, but I am not sure on this? Can anyone help???? Thanks!

ithink it should have smog if that was normal in '68, a factory have to obey lots of rules when building cars, especially if its about emission-control.

I could be mistaken, but I recall the manual trans cars having the A.I.R. equipment....
