Hi again I have an engine I need help identifying where it originated. The back of the block casting reads 3970010 there is a 010 and 020 on the back face of the block (Nickel, Tin?) on the front of the block stamped in the id pad-C4F335853 V1015TMM.

As for the heads 3782461 double hump 202s

If memory serves me the first set of numbers is the VIN from the original vehicle.

I'm not real sure on the decode of first numbers, but here's an educated guess:
C=Chevrolet
4=1974
F=Flint assembly plant
335853=Sequential number of VIN

V=Flint engine plant
1015=Engine assembled on October 15

The heads are mid-60's "fuelie" heads. 62cc chambers
