What is the recommended fuel line needed for a 500 hp 383? This system wiull have no return line. THe car has the stock small block factory set up. I think it is 5/8 does that sound right?

-You are probably running a 3/8 inch line. It MAY be adequate for your engine. All of the big blocks were 3/8 so I don't really see a problem, although they did run a return line. With what you are running, I would consider a return line. They are available and not to expensive. Your tank unit will need to have a return line added to it.

Please correct me if I am mistaken but, I thought that the return lines were used on cars with Rochester carbs? I would just use the 3/8". My buddy has a 455 in a 71 Ventura and went with the same line (3/8").

I use the stock 3/8" on my 468ci with about 550HP, no problem. No fuel starvation issues at all....
