I have a 69 with a 350. It has a Performer RPM intake which is very similar to the version used on Z/28 302's. Im running a HEI distributor and Im trying to find out if a cowl induction air cleaner will fit on this engine. I have the ZL2 hood and would love to have the cowl air cleaner with the rubber seal. Please help if you have any information on my problem.

I own a 69 DZ 302, has the stock aluminum intake which takes the 1" flange so the seal presses on the hood when its closed. You might not need the 1" flange depending on the hieght of your intake.I dont feel you will have a problem running the cowl induction breather.
