Transistor Ignition coil.

Can i use a MSD coil with a factory transistor ignition setup? (1969 camaro)
A factory coil spec sheet says primary ohms are 4.1 to 5.1 a MSD coil spec sheet says they are 7.0
Every thing else seams pretty close.
I don't have a lot of knowledge about resistance so is that a minor difference or way to much?

T.I. Coils are .41 to .51 a higher restance coil will reduce output. Many coils are 1.5 ohm. Are you sure about the MSD being 7 ohms?

MSD Blaster 2 coil is 0.7 ohms
