Wondering how much horsepower this will produce? Has anybody done this? Is it feasible to get the quoted numbers, or is my compression too low to make it?

John, if you want some answers to your question your best bet would be to post complete engine specs on this build.
Most guys are not going to research the part numbers you have provided

The tech pages on Edelbrock's web site lists their top end packages (and matching cam) from their entry level stock parts only made out of cast aluminum to the top of the line Victor heads and intake. There are four levels of hotrodding from Edelbrock above stone stock replacement parts that list the horsepower per cubic inch. As your engine displacement increases your power level using their parts rises as well.

Steve, Thanks. As much as I would like to post complete specs I lack the knowledge and mechanical expertise to do so...haha. I am just getting into the scene, and although I have been fiending for a early-model Camaro since I can remember, I only recently purchased my project car and am in the dark on most things, so needless to say I am ready to start learning but far from knowing how to get the information for the forum. I have enlisted a mechanically inclined friend to help me do the things I want to do to the car and hopefully we can knock it out without too much hassle. Any help to make the process easier would come with great appreciation. Big Dave, I appreciate the post although as described above it is looking more like the Matrix to me than anything, my apologies. I know that knowledge on these things is a valuable commodity so if my questions seem rudimentary please excuse the lack of competency on the subject, and I am thankful for any help that comes my way.

Read what it says on the Edelbrock intake, and on the ends of the cylinder heads. If it says Performer it is a stock head and intake cast in aluminum for the bling factor (though it does save weight). If it says "Performer RPM" it is the middle of the road and will offer about one horsepower for every cubic inch of displacement (so a 355 makes 355 horsepower). If it says Victor (as opposed to Victor Jr.) odds are you can not close a flat hood over the engine because it will have a very tall single plain intake manifold with raised port intake runners that are going to rival a big block in size (But with a steep rear gear and a lot of static compression along with a tank full of race gas you could possibly be making 710 horsepower at 7,500 RPM in your Camaro. Just don't expect it to be too awful streetable as the engine will be a dog below 5600 RPM.

Edelbrock Victor intakes where common on race cars, just not their Victor heads as most racers hand carved their own heads out of chunks of aluminum that said Brodix, or Pro-Filer on the outside feeling that their own efforts at head porting where far superior to an off the shelf head.

Okay trackin'...
From what I have read the engine I have is putting out about 270hp and 395tq, the RPM Total Power Top End Kit that I am thinking about purchasing from edelbrock is supposed to increase that to 540hp and 539tq..."IF"...my compression is 9.5:1, so that is why I was hoping somebody had some experience with this engine and the modification. Thanks for your insight, I may be able to offer more information once my friend and I get into it.
