Hi looking to replace my Doug Thorley tri y's with Dougs D368,I see they don't fit with Saginaw 825 streering box.
I have the 3rd gen box with Lee adaptors how can I tell what model the box is,I purchased it from Rock auto so it was a crap shoot as to the model.
Would the Dynatech headers be a better fit with 3rd gen box?(I run AFR 195 heads)
All comments welcome
Regards Murray

Re: Headers

Murray, I have the same combo as you. The D368 worked for me. With the old headers out, take a 4" grinder to the sharp corner on the gear box. It got in my way and may scratch your coatings so leave the wrapper on the tubes until you get them in .
The driver side goes almost directly into the bottom. You will have to remove plugs.
