Power to distributor , no spark

I am hoping someone can help me out. I installed new AAW harness in my 67 SB 350 and now in wont start. Prior to installation i had a wire from the battery to a toggle switch and from the switch to the BAT side of cap. Would jump the starter with a screw driver. I would do this just to start every now and then. Now I have the new harness and it won't start.

I installed the new ignition switch with harness and nothing. If I jump the starter it will turn over but won't start. Disconnected the new harness, re-installed quick start set up and if fires right up.

Any ideas? Trying to figure this out before Monday and have to call AAW.

Re: Power to distributor , no spark

Have you made sure the wires are connected to the block on the rad support behind the battery?

Re: Power to distributor , no spark

Are you using a neutral safety switch. With my 5 speed I did not use neutral safety switch. So I had to jumper across the neutral safety switch wires. I have a console so the neutral safety wires are in the console. I can't remember the color but I believe they were purple. I can cr tomorrow or look at your instructions to determine

Purple sounds correct for the wire colors.

Not sure from the description if it won't turn over or won't fire. If not turning over check the purple wire on the small terminal; at the starter closest to block for power woth the key turned all the way to crank. if no power there find NSS connections and test on both sides of switch, if no power there check back of ignition switch. If not firing check power at cap with key on and in crank if no power check at firewall connector then ignition switch.

Re: Power to distributor , no spark

AAW harness has a purple the goes to NSS and from NSS to starter. If no NSS the the purples need to be connected to each other

If switch in start position and it not cranking. Then issues is the purple in not jumped, not to the S terminal on the starter or problem at the switch itself.

If it cranks but doesnít start check to see the is 12v at + side of coil in the run position and also if 12v in the start position.

I like AAW too, but the last dash harness I got was missing a wire. It was just never installed. I was scratching my head for days trying to figure it out.
