Wires and Headers

With the Flowtech headers on my SB 69, the #6 and #3 spark plugs are about 3/8" from the header tube. What is the solution to getting a wire on those plugs. I have 90 degree wires. Not had this issue on BB and this is the first SB I have done with headers.

Re: Wires and Headers

I have Dynatech headers on my SB and the #5 was too tight even with 90 deg angle wire boots so I use an Accel shorty plug for that cylinder.

Re: Wires and Headers

I use ngk shorty plugs on mine, they are actually made for a lawn mower, but spec out the same as stock plug.

Re: Wires and Headers

I use Taylor Ceramic Boot wires. Good for 2000* and wonít burn even if touching the Headers.

Can you get these in a set for HEI and make to the length you need?
